2011 Evolution Coaches

Brooke Sloan   has been a resident singles coach at DSC for over 20 years. She has over 23 years of synchronized team skating coaching experience. Brooke skated  on one of the founding precision teams at DSC, The Detroit Capets. Before Brooke joined the Evolution coaching staff, she was the coach for the U of M synchronized skating teams. She also was one of the coaches that brought great success to Team Elan. Her teams have won several National Championships. Her junior teams were also two time Junior World team members. Her teams have been members of Team USA and competed internationally for many years, including a gold medal at the Spring Cup in Milan, Italy in 2003. Brooke travels across the country yearly working with several teams across our Nation.

Courtney MacIntosh has been with DSC for 8 years. She previously skated on Team Elan and Evolution's Junior and Senior teams for many years. In that time she competed internationally as a member of Team U.S.A. 9 different times. While skating for Brooke she earned a National Championship and was also a member of 2 Junior World teams . Courtney has helped coach teams at the preliminary and pre-juvenile levels. Last year she coached Evolution's Beginner team and helped with the Novice team. Courtney also has a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University and currently teaches Kindergarten.
